Just when I thought I’d seen it all I stumbled across this site yesterday. These shoes were created to dance in at your wedding reception. Which actually isn’t a bad idea considering your whole mood can change if you are wearing comfortable shoes. Half way during my reception I kicked off my high heels and put on my wedding flip flops and my feet were much happier. These sneakers come in high, medium and low heels and you can even have them embroidered.

Happy Labor Day and Inspiration Monday! I apologize for the lack of blog posts last week. I was out of town for a beautiful wedding in Vermont. It was such a personal, fun and unique wedding and I’ll post photos of it the next few weeks. Wait until you see their wedding cake! I found these lovely vintage inspired centerpiece arrangements on Daily Candy Weddings. They are created by Katherine Oliver of San Francisco-based Cherries Flowers. She searches antique fairs and curiosity shops for milk glass, vintage soda bottles, and old-timey cans to use as vases. What a simple yet unique way to add a charming vintage touch to your wedding.

Vermont’s new same-sex marriage law officially took effect today! Early this morning some couples even got married right after the stroke of midnight. Hopefully in just a matter of time all states will soon follow suit. In honor of this occasion Vermont-based, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is renaming their “Chubby Hubby” flavor “Hubby Hubby” for the month of September.
