Win wrappers from Bella Cupcake Couture – sweet!

Saturday, November 13th, 2010

Bella Cupcake Couture is the passionate creation of Carrie Middlemiss. After a year of research and talking to cupcake lovers and shop owners, she created stylish textile-inspired cupcake wrappers to hide the crinkly, translucent paper they’re baked in.

Carrie wanted something fashionable for the bottom portion of her cupcakes and always said “Why should the frosting have all the limelight?”

Bella Cupcake Couture offers posh and chic textile-inspired cupcake wrappers. The boutique-style designs add a touch of sophistication and elegance for any special occasion.

We love Carrie and her beautiful wrappers and she’s giving away 50 of them to one lucky BravoBride user! How do your enter to win? Just ‘like’ us on Facebook. If you already like us then recommend BravoBride to your friends, let us know you did by posting on our wall and you’ll receive a double entry! Carrie is also offering 25% off all orders to all BravoBride users, just use the code ‘BRAVO’ when checking out. Now that’s a sweet deal!

Crazy for cupcakes

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

In case you haven’t noticed cupcakes are becoming all the rage and are sometimes replacing the traditional cake when it comes to celebrating special occasions. From the bridal shower to the bachelorette party to the reception, wedding cupcakes are making it more fun and easier to please your guests.

Why do we love cupcakes other than the fact they are small but so delicious?

  • With cupcakes you can get more creative with the decorations and colors.
  • You can go crazy with the different amount of flavors.
  • Last but not least, portion control. For some reason it just feels like cupcakes have less calories than a piece of cake. Although I am sure this is not true, it just makes them seem more guilt free. Which must make them somewhat healthy, right? ;)

Check out how some brides used cupcakes at their wedding and bachelorette parties below.

We love how there's still a cake on top for the bride and groom to cut!

Where cupcakes meet fashion.

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

Last weekend I was lucky enough to meet Carrie from Bell Cupcake Couture. Bella Cupcake Couture is an online boutique that offers posh and chic textile-inspired cupcake wrappers. Not only is Carrie outgoing, smart and very talented but she also brought a box of chocolates in her purse to share. How could you not like her?!  I loved Carrie’s business idea and checked out her website the next day. I was so impressed with her wrappers which are not only beautiful but also printed with soy inks on recycled paper. Carrie’s boutique-style designs are exquisite and offer a sophisticated elegance to any special occasion; weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthdays, celebrations, and just because. Check out Carrie’s products below and click here to learn about Bella Cupcake Couture and view more of her haute wrappers.32686
