Fabulous Find – Concarta Wedding Cake Toppers

I just love stumbling upon really unique wedding items and that’s exactly what we found this week with Concarta Wedding Cake Toppers. Not only are these paper wedding cake toppers different but they are also beautifully and meticulously crafted. Concarta paper toppers are handmade, one-of-a-kind works of art. Each and every sculpture is made with acid free paper, a variety of cutting tools, and archival quality glue. Take a look at Concarta’s amazing work!

I can’t imagine how much time is spent on these paper sculptures. I love the bouquet on this topper.

You can use these toppers on your cake and then display them by a wedding photo after the big day.

Most of the toppers are custom made but they do have a few ready made ones, like these toppers, which are available on their website.

The wedding gown on this topper is amazing.


Last but not least, Concarta offers other types of toppers. This would make a great baby shower decoration and looks exactly like my good friend Maureen, who is due any day now!

A Little Birdie Told Me…

Our Fab Find this week are Ann Wood’s sweetheart bird cake toppers. Ann works with mostly found and salvaged materials that are typically vintage or antique garments. Her birds are all lovingly handcrafted and each one is a sweet little piece of art you can cherish for years to come.


This set is called Ava and Fin. Ava is made from ivory cotton sateen and has a lovely floral fascinator. Finn is in ivory cotton sateen as well and black cotton with a boutonnière that coordinates with Ava’s fascinator.

Estella and Pip are featured above. Estella is made from ivory silk satin, and a spectacular edwardian ball gown. The lace is detailed and delicate. Pip is in ivory and black silk satin and he has a glittery little top hat.

Catherine is made from ivory cotton sateen and has a little corsage. James is in ivory cotton sateen as well and black cotton with a boutonnière that coordinates with Catherine’s corsage and top hat.


Bella and Bailey are handmade with cotton patchwork of vintage and contemporary fabrics.


Odette and Royal are sold out but a new version is coming soon. Odette is made from ivory silk satin, antique ivory floral lace and tulle from an antique gown. Royal is in ivory silk satin and jet black matte cotton and he has a little top hat too.
