This is a beautiful, authentic, lightly used and slightly altered Vera Wang wedding gown purchased January 2010 from Marcella's La Boutique in Seattle, WA. The dress has been worn once on 8/13/10 (it was STUNNING) and is cleaned - just like new!
I apologize that the pictures make it somewhat difficult to see. There are some photos of the original dress at Marcellas after purchasing (tan person). The additional photos are the exact same color and style from other websites (Vera Wang Dress Pictures are very hard to find). I did wear the Vera Wang sash with it (Champagne flowers as pictured), but I am not selling the sash - this can be purchased (and custom from Vera Wang) from your local Vera Wang Retailer.
This dress was custom made (like all Vera Wang dresses) over the course of seven months. It comes with it's authenticity card. The style number is 26119, and it is a bridal size 8 (note that is a bridal size, not a regular dress size; street size would be more like a 4. I am usually a size 2 or 4 and am a 34C and 5'5 - the dress was never shortened, only taken in.
The dress is a modified mermaid, a very flattering cut that is fitted through the hips. It is simple and modern while still being soft and romantic, with tiered layers of silk organza tissue and tulle.
This dress is absolutely beautiful, and it's so unusual to find one online that has only been slightly altered and is in this good of condition. You can have a custom wedding gown exactly as it came from Vera Wang without having to wait the 6-8 months for it to be handmade to order.
