Soft White A-Line strapless silk dress with dark rose pink pleated trim at top, and flowing bow at back that matches train. Silk base fabric and silk organza fitted top layer. I had originally wanted a white dress without any additional color, and had to be talked into trying this on by the little old woman at the dress store. She'd obviously helped a lot of brides, and was an expert on what styles would look good on different body types.
I came out of the dressing room, and both my mom and maid of honor said "That's it - that's the one1". And they were right. This dress felt like a dream after hours of trying on polyester dresses, and it had just the classic elegance I was looking for.
