After much convincing my husband has agreed to let me sell my wedding gown, yup he's super sentimental. But I would like someone else to wear it because I think it's just beautiful and due to medical reasons I won't have a daughter to pass it on to so before it has aged I am putting it up for sale. Our wedding was a Phantom of the Opera theme and we spent a lot of time shopping for the perfect Christine gown for our wedding theme.
It is labeled a size 4 and it measures flat across the wides part of the bust 16.5'' and flat across the waist 12.75. When it was altered the designers tag was removed by the seamstress and I don't remember the designers name. It was purchased at a little boutique bridal store that specialized in UK designers and it closed with this economy.
The dress is white and has a satin bodice with re-embroidered lace overlay, pearl beading on the lace the 3/4 sleeve is unlined so you see thru the lace. The bottom of the sleeve is double layer of chiffon with lace applique. The shape of the bell is what drew me to this gown it is a bit shorter at the top and longer toward the body so it really frames the wrist area. The skirt is very full with two layers of chiffon with lace appliques over petticoat netting and a slip lining to keep the netting off of the skin. The back is a full train with a tailored satin bow and satin fabric rose in the middle. The handmade blue/gray ribbon roses in the photos are not attached to the gown, I do have them if they are desired as an accessory.
The dress is clean but needs to be pressed. The only damage I could find is a tiny mark (maybe the size of a small pea on the very inner slip and up high, it would never be seen. Also the hemline of the inner slip has slight staining from where it touches the ground, again this doesn't show at all.

I am a bit unconventional, I took my father and fiance with me to shop and my favorite moment was when I came out of the dressing room to both of them exclaiming "wow" I knew this was my gown right then.
