Hurricane Sandy affected millions of American’s last week and and many are still waiting for electricity and hot water to return. It of course, delayed and impacted thousands of weddings too. We listed some wedding vendors who are offering discounts or donating a percentage to hurricane relief. TheKnot.com also created a Facebook page where brides affected by Sandy can ask for help and other brides can donate items. At times like this it makes you remember that weddings aren’t all about the dress and the flowers but about love, family, friends and being there for each other.
From now until November 30th, 2012, Mina D. jewelry is donating 20% from each purchase to the American Red Cross for hurricane Sandy.
Deposit a Gift has partnered with The New York Foundling, an organization that serves over 11,000 children and families, including some of the hardest hit areas: Lower Manhattan and Staten Island. For every contribution you make to The Foundling’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund, Deposit a Gift will donate an additional 4%.
Jaehee Bridal is extending their Pronovias Trunk Show to November 10th and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Julian Ribinik Photography is a NY area photographer and is donating 20% off her services from now through March to brides in need.
