We are a company out of the pacific northwest, an area known for its sustainability measures. Because of this, we know that many brides all over the country want to implement their daily sustainability actions into their wedding ceremony as well.
Here are some of our ideas to make your wedding eco-friendly!
1. Make a paperless menu!
- Reuse Ceremony flowers: Why let all of those beautiful flowers lining your aisles and all around your ceremony go to waste? Ask your florist if he/she can arrange them into centerpieces or decorations for the reception.
- Reduce fossil fuel use: If you have your ceremony and reception in the same location, this will reduce the need for people to drive from place to place. Not only does it eliminate the use of fossil fuels, but it also is so much easier for your guests.
- Cut down on invitation costs: You can achieve this by either using an e-card; which is now becoming much more popular as people are checking their emails more than their mail these days. Or you can use seed paper invitations (or whatever biodegradable paper you choose)! Both are environmentally friendly, easy to use, and can go with any theme!
- Use BravoBride! BravoBride is perfect for the “reuse” aspect of reduce, reuse, recycle. We offer tons of dresses that have been used only once, if at all. These dresses are also at a much lower price than what they would normally sell for. Using BravoBride saves money and the environment!
