Texture is one of the top wedding dress trends for Fall 2014. Designers like Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta turned simple silhouettes into works of art. Besides lovely lace, there were textures ranging from glamorous beading to lattice backs. Take a look at some of our favorite wedding dresses and textures.
1. Petal Sleeves
Pretty petal sleeves are so soft and romantic. The airy flutter of the sleeves creates the perfect frame to show off the decolletage.
2. Floral Mesh Overlay
Floral mesh is a lovely alternative to traditional lace. It gives that same amount of mystery by showing a bit while still covering.
3. Beading and Sequins
Beading and sequins are extremely luxurious. The key is to go for tiny beads and sequins for more of a luxe look.
4. Lattice Back
A beautiful lattice-inspired design is fresh and youthful on a sleeved dress. Lattice opens up the dress and adds interest.
5. Soft Feathers
For a cozy, warm dress, feathers are the way to go! Feathers are lightweight but add that soft touch.
6. Flouncy Layered Skirt
A flouncy tiered layered skirt is so fun and flirty. Much more elegant in a light flowy fabric like chiffon on a long skirt
Texture is a major trend in wedding dresses. Detailing in the sleeves, right down to the skirt made simple dresses extremely beautiful. Beading and soft feathers are some of the many textures seen for wedding dress trends this Fall 2014. What type of wedding dress textures are you favorite?
