Vintage - Sivalia Couture "vintage" Style Mermaid & Lace Gown

This is a brand new, unique couture gown. The maker is Sivalia. Some professional alterations have been made since I intended on wearing it, but decided to wear a different gown. (FYI: alterations alone cost me over $175). The tailor removed the tag, but she gave it to me, so the tag isn't attached. I had the hem shortened, which required a lot of work because it is double layered and has a unique design, two different hem lengths, and the tailor had to replace the boning in the entire hem. I also had the tailor add the lace to front, as well as add a few layers of tulle so that my cleavage would not show. If you are seriously interested in purchasing this dress and prefer it to be see through in the bust area, I can have the layers of tulle removed, or you can easily remove it yourself. Please refer to the pictures and you will know what I am talking about. It is a size 8, but fits more like a size 6. It has a zipper closure in the back. The top part has a hook and eye closure at the back of the neck. Color on the label reads "peacock." It is a very flattering shade of a sort of muted teal. When I bought it, everyone said it looked like a vintage, old Hollywood dress-which is kind of cool. I took pictures with flash and without flash to give you a more accurate idea of the dress color. It is a form fitting dress, with a mermaid shape at the bottom, but it is not a typical mermaid dress because of the unique double, uneven layered hem. This dress retails at over $1400. I am 5'4" and am able to wear this dress with 4 inch heels without my feet showing. So it will be an appropriate length for anyone who is under 5'9." Unless you don't mind your shoes showing. I am willing to negotiate on the price.

Preservation Method: Brand new, with some alterations made. Never worn, ready to go.
