Daymor Couture Full Length Evening Gown in a beautiful shade of Aubergine (deep eggplant). The dress was purchased from Jan's Boutique online ( jansboutiqueonline.com ), # 610 listed for 740.00. With additional length and shipping & handling the total came to 820.00. The bodice is pleated with a wide V-neck and tapered waist, slenderizing the upper body and placing emphasis on the face. The waist has a beaded medallion in bronze and iridescent eggplant; it is noticeable (pictures do not do justice), but not gaudy. The skirt is an A-line cut offering free movement. In Jan's online photo, the way the model is standing the skirt appears to be a trumpet style, but it is described as A-line. The dress size is 24, however it fits more like a 22. I usually wear a standard 22 and the fitted bodice was very comfortable and slimming. I received numerous compliments on how elegant the dress was, sincerely my favorite. Worn once.
